Spark Plug – SB003I
The spark plug is an important component of the ignition system of fuel vehicles. It can introduce high-voltage electricity into the combustion chamber and make it skip the electrode gap to generate sparks, thereby igniting the combustible mixture in the cylinder.
The spark plug is an important component of the ignition system of fuel vehicles. It can introduce high-voltage electricity into the combustion chamber and make it skip the electrode gap to generate sparks, thereby igniting the combustible mixture in the cylinder. The spark plug is mainly composed of the connection nut, insulator, connection screw, center electrode, side electrode and shell. The side electrode is welded to the shell.
When the spark plug is working, it not only has to constantly withstand the rapid changes in temperature shock, pressure shock and chemical corrosion in the combustion chamber, but also has to withstand at least 30,000 volts of ignition high-voltage pulse. Therefore, the spark plug must have intact mechanical, electrical and chemical properties throughout the entire service life.
Performance requirements of the spark plug:
Mechanical performance:
The ceramic and electrode materials of the spark plug should have sufficient mechanical strength to withstand
