Engine foot rubber is a kind of rubber product, also known as engine support rubber or shock-absorbing rubber. It is mainly used to be installed under the car engine. Its main function is to buffer and isolate the vibrations generated by the engine during operation to reduce the impact of these vibrations on the body and other components, thereby improving the driving stability and comfort of the car.
Engine foot rubber is mainly divided into two categories: rubber type and hydraulic type.
Rubber-type machine foot rubber usually uses rubber as the shock-absorbing material. It has a simple structure and is widely used. The design of this type of machine foot rubber makes it perform well under ordinary use conditions and meet the needs of most daily driving.
Hydraulic machine foot rubber has hydraulic oil injected into the machine foot rubber. Compared with ordinary rubber machine foot rubber, hydraulic machine foot rubber provides better shock absorption effect, thereby improving driving comfort. The shock-absorbing performance of hydraulic machine foot rubber is better than that of rubber machine foot rubber, and it is suitable for vehicles with higher requirements for driving comfort.
These two types of machine foot glues have their own characteristics and are suitable for different usage scenarios and needs. Which type of machine foot glue should be selected depends on the vehicle’s appearance requirements.
The design of the machine foot rubber takes into account a variety of factors, including material selection and structural optimization, to ensure that it can effectively absorb and reduce engine vibration while maintaining sufficient strength and durability. This design not only improves the vehicle’s driving stability, but also extends the service life of the engine and related components.
The working principle of engine foot rubber is mainly to absorb and reduce the vibration generated when the engine is working through its rubber component or hydraulic oil, thereby maintaining the stability of the cockpit and improving the driving experience.
1. Eliminate resonance: The rubber component of the machine foot rubber can eliminate the resonance generated when the engine is working, reduce the transmission of engine vibration to the cockpit, and maintain the stability of the cockpit.
2. Reduce vibration transmission: When the engine vibrates, the machine foot rubber can reduce the transmission of vibration to the body, thereby protecting the body structure from damage and improving driving safety.
3. Hydraulic oil pressure reducing function: Some machine foot rubbers also have a hydraulic oil pressure reducing function to further reduce the impact of engine vibration. If the machine foot rubber is damaged, the vibration generated by the engine will cause the entire vehicle body to vibrate, affecting driving safety.

The vibration of the engine becomes larger: When the machine foot rubber is damaged, the vibration of the engine will become significantly larger, and obvious vibrations can be felt in the cab, affecting driving comfort.
Increased noise: As the vibration of the engine becomes larger, the vehicle will produce greater noise during driving, especially when idling or driving at low speeds.
Increased fuel consumption: Increased engine vibration may affect fuel injection and ignition timing, resulting in increased fuel consumption.
